Spiders? Heights? Being alone for the rest of your life? All these things are common fears, but they are only on the surface. True fears go deeper than not wanting a snake to sliver across your foot.
Fear is present when we believe God is not. It causes us to act on emotions and circumstances rather than the truth in God’s Word. By giving the “no” before we can consider the “yes,” it effectively keeps us from our goals and calling. The choices that drive us come from two places—-either fear or faith.
When we function under the assumption of God’s perfect love in any area of our lives, all fears and hindrances will be removed.
